20th Accounting History Symposium

Online symposium in Melbourne

Following the success of the 18th Accounting History Symposium held virtually at the end of 2022, and the 19th Accounting History Symposium, held in person earlier this year preceding the 2023 AFAANZ Conference, the Accounting History Special Interest Group (AHSIG) is pleased to announce the second symposium of the year 2023. The 20th Accounting History Symposium will be held virtually on Thursday 7 December 2023, starting at 6pm AEDT – Melbourne time.

As per our tradition, at this event, we welcome research proposals from a variety of academics and on a variety of accounting history topics. Therefore, you can find attached the call for research proposals with all the necessary details. You are welcome to extend the call to any colleagues and students that might be interested in presenting a research proposal at the event.

Registration to the event is free of charge. A link for the registration will be provided closer to the event.

The due date for submission of research proposals is Friday, 15 November 2023. The proposals should be sent giulia.leoni@unige.it and maryam.safari@rmit.edu.au
