Decolonising the Business School Curriculum
British Academy of Management Resource and video
This week the British Academy of Management (BAM) will host the e-Festival of Education on Thursday 27 February, and the theme is “How can we collectively promote inclusive approaches to management education?” It looks like a really interesting set of conversations not just from BAM but also from our international partner organizations: SIMA (Italy), ACEDE (Spain) and IAM (Ireland) offering insights and new teaching tools. I am delighted to be discussing our BAM Guide to Decolonising the Business School Curriculum again, which offers a practical introduction to the debate and the way we can engage better with our international body of students and staff.
Sign-up for the e-Festival is still available until 25th February here: https://www.bam.ac.uk/events-landing/ems-event-calendar/bam-mke-e-festival-of-education-2025.html
But if you cannot join us, we have a recording from our launch event at last year’s BAM conference below.
We gratefully acknowledge funding from the Academy of Social Sciences and Economic and Social Science Research Council’s EDI fund for professional associations which has supported the launch.
And don’t forget to submit your short developmental or full paper to the Management & Business History SIG for the next BAM Conference at the University of Kent by 28 February!!
