Doctoral Workshop at ABH2026
Tony Slaven Doctoral Workshop at the Association of Business Historians Conference in Reading
Applications are now open for the 13th Tony Slaven Doctoral Workshop, taking place on 2nd July at Henley Business School, University of Reading, immediately before the ABH Annual Conference.
The workshop offers doctoral students (at any stage) the chance to present their research, receive feedback from experienced scholars, and take part in professional development activities. We welcome applications from all areas of business history, broadly defined, including management and organisation history, economic and financial history, and related fields in other disciplines.
Applicants are required to submit a single document (max 4 pages) including:
One‑page CV
One page with supervisors, thesis title, university/department, and start date
Abstract of your presentation (either a project overview or a chapter/paper)
Attendees are eligible to apply for the Francesca Carnevali Grant, which is intended to contribute towards travel, accommodation, and registration costs.
