HiMOS is back!

Full-day, in-person workshop in Tampere, Finland, 20 March

Dear colleagues,

HiMOS is coming! We are happy to announce that our 8^th meeting will be organized as a full-day, on-site workshop on Thu, March 20^th, 2025 (save the date!). The workshop will take place in Tampere, Finland.

HiMOS (www.historymos.com) aims to support the publication of history-informed papers in top management journals. We are proud that previously discussed papers have been published in journals like Strategic Management Journal, Academy of Management Discoveries, and Journal of World Business.

We have now opened the Call for Papers for those interested in presenting their work in the seminar workshop. The format we have in mind is to have a set of 4 history-related working papers targeting top management journals. We will also hold a separate, informal pre-event seminar on March 19^th for PhD students who are working on HiMOS-related topics and wish to present their working papers and receive constructive feedback on them.

Please submit your abstract by Jan 31 via this link. We will inform those who have been selected to present in early February.

More information about registration (opening soon!) for participants will follow shortly, alongside further details about the venue and other practicalities. As before, the event is free of charge for participants.
